Hi folks
Hope your all well,
So we did manage out today, Conditions were not the best,
Westerly Wind against tide, slow drift, wasn't too bad,
once the wind went south west, it got a little rolly ,
Made it a little uncomfortable,
Fish caught,
Cod to 7.6lb,
Ling, ballan wrasse , cuckoo wrasse,
Sea scorpion, poor cod,
Still no mackerel,

Hi folks Hope your all well,
Much calmer seas today,
Dylan from America came on a 4hr fishing trip
With his wife today,
He caught this big girl,
She measured 65"x84"
An estimated 190lb
A quick photo, And safely returned,
Well done Dylan, the fish was heavier than you,
Enjoy the rest of your honeymoon guys.

Rather a damp day today,
Darrin Limond caught this lovely female skate
193lb,
And mikey Hannah caught the first male skate of the season, 138lb
Both fish were measured ,Quick photo and safely returned,
That's darrins new pb Skate, also mikeys pb male skate

Yessss Lads!!!!! Nice steady start to the season Barry! Fair feamale and male fash that!! Bet Mikey Hannah kint he had a scrap on his hands haha!! Was hoping to get up this week but family emergency at home plus a hydraulics course spoiled that 🤦🏼‍♂️ Next leave tho, I’ll try time it for a double day and spend the night! Although I’ll no doubt be on the rocks/beach wi Mikey 🤣 Well done again lads! Cheers

Here's a few pictures from this weekends Rough ground fishing trips
Both days starting slow with very little drift, we picked away, and once the tide started to run, our drift increased, producing a few more fish,
Sunday was slightly better than Saturday,
Species caught,
Cod, ling, poor cod, pollock, coley,
ballan wrasse,
male and female cuckoo wrasse,
Sea scorpion,

Bit of a wet start today,
We picked away, until the tide turned,
Then later when the sun came out it was quite a nice day,
We caught our first Bluemouth rockfish of the season,
Along with cod, ling, poor cod,
Bluemouth rockfish, sea scorpion, cuckoo wrasse, ballan wrasse,
Still no mackerel, they can't be far away now,
Check out the picture of the boats see if you can see been cool,
Picture was taken yesterday
